The 53km-long trekking tour around Mount Kailash is a pilgrim circumambulation. Every year, there are thousands of pilgrims of many religions from home and abroad who come to the mountain for the life-time worship. Nowadays it is a very popular trekking tour in Tibet for travellers to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and experience the special Tibetan religious culture. Many tourists say they feel they changed to another person after the journey.
